Did you know the city of Los Angeles (DTLA) is literally a “City on a Hill” and at a higher elevation than even San Francisco?1

City planners of Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) recognized the City of Angels’ uniqueness and appropriately named the streets bounding its pinnacle “Hope,” “Grand,” and “Temple.”2 God has destined Los Angeles to become a beacon of Light,3 a veritable City of Light in the Biblical sense of the word.
Ye are the light of the worldA CITY SET ON A HILL cannot be hidLet your light shine before men
That they may see your good works, and
Glorify your Father who is in heaven
(Matthew 5:14)
